AAA Offering a Free Tow on New Year’s to Drunk Drivers

In order to keep drunk drivers off the road, AAA is offering a free “Tipsy Tow” to drivers with AAA insurance, and those without AAA, on New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July. The policy will help keep drivers and pedestrians safe from danger, as well as out of Los Angeles County jails.

The Tipsy Tow service is available for rides up to 7 miles from the point of pickup to the drop-off location for drivers who have consumed alcohol. If you are traveling further than 7 miles, make sure that someone in your group volunteers to be the designated driver and stays sober. You can also call a taxi cab to drive you around.
