Description: The Orange County Women’s Jail, along with the central Men’s Central Jail Complex and Intake
Release Center, makes up the Orange County Jail Complex. The Central Women’s Jail also houses educational

Theo Lacy Jail

Description: The TLF is an older Orange County jail, originally built in 1960 and expanded greatly in 2006.
It’s named after a Sheriff who held two non-consecutive terms, including the longest term in department
history of 28 years.
James A. Musick Facility

Description: The James A. Musick Facility is the least likely Orange County Jail to be released from on
Orange Conty bail bonds. It’s actually an easier going county jail known for its rehab programs for
non-violent sentenced inmates. It’s actually been nicknamed “The Farm” due to its emphasis on farm and
horticultural rehab programs.
