Norwalk Sheriff Station

The Norwalk Sheriff Station provides police services to Norwalk, La Mirada, and the unincorporated South Whittier County. This station includes a temporary holding facility with 10 cells that can hold up to 40 individuals. Inmates who have not been bailed out are either held until their court date or transferred to a larger facility. Men are normally transferred to Twin Towers Jail in Downtown Los Angeles, while women are transferred to Lynwood Jail at the Century Station.

Because these transfers can take a considerable amount of time to process, it is best to start the bail bond process early before they are transferred.
