Description: The West Valley Detention Center is the main San Bernardino County Jail. It’s been around since 1991 and can house over 3,000 inmates. Most arrestees are transferred here if they don’t post bail bonds quickly. Some people refer to it as “Rancho Cucamonga” due to its location.

Adelanto Detention Center

Description: The Adelanto Detention Center is modern San Bernardino County jail facility. It was built in 2006 and can handle about 700 pre-sentenced inmates who are awaiting release from a San Bernardino bail bondsman.

There are about 25 Sherriff and Police stations located throughout San Bernardino County that can also temporarily house arrestees waiting on bail bonds.
